This will again, sorry to say, be a short post. The bus that will take us south picks us up in 6 minutes, but I wanted to let you all know some of the activities we have planned (and by planned I mean picked up pamphlets and said, "Oh, that looks fun!"):
1) Black Water Rafting
2) Zorbing (Google it!)
3) Glowworm Caves
4) Tongariro Crossing [17 KM hike (oneway) to the top of Mount Doom]
5) Skydiving (?)
6) Jet Boating
7) Canyon Swinging
8) Peddling for change on the streets
Hopefully the next hostel has internet access so we can add some Auckland pictures and I can discribe the city a little more. Until then...

The experience of traveling creates memories and stories that stay with you forever. These memories not only put a smile on your face, but the stories help others grin and chuckle as well. Numerous family members and friends are interested in my travels and I figured this would be the best way to share some of my tales. I also hope everyone who reads this page can live vicariously through me; if not for just the short time it takes you to read the new posts.
Saint Augustine said, “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." I believe this to be true, so even if you do not get to see some of these places for yourself, I will do my best to summarize and show you what I can. What follows will be a sort of "Cliffnotes", if you will, reported to the best of my ability, that will help you get through that "World book", page by page, place by place, experience by experience...

Somebody (please!) dig out the camera when you guys start "peddling in the streets". That way when either Megan or Laura run for president Fox will have file footage of their (wretched) past. Photos, people!
What a wonderful adventure you three are on! I hope you continue to have a wonderful adventure. I have not heard one mention of bugs. Are there mosquitos?
The kids are in the land of the Chinese Gooseberry and hopefully continuing the fun adventures,
when you do the "bungee" jump, make sure they measure twice, don't lie about weight either.
We here in the No Spin Zone, are plugging along, enjoying the Paris Hilton saga, our mayors marital trials and tribulations(divorce) and other boring stuff, oh and cleaning out the garage, can't get anymore exciting than that, have fun and don't forget to sit and watch the people through your bloodshot eyes
It looks like a blast - maybe you can bring it to the states & make your fame & fortune
I'd definitely give it a try
Keep on having fun - these are the kinds of experinces you want to be able to remember from this trip

Thought I'd put in my two cents worth here. Sounds like you guys are having a blast. Remember if you can't find a place to stay some night, there's always the local police station! have fun!
